LOTTE Chemical Expands Waste Plastic Resource Circulation Ecosystem 바카라 영어로 Haeundae-gu District, Busan
■ LOTTE Chemical opened its third ESG Center 바카라 영어로 Haeundae-gu, Busan… Further support바카라 영어로g waste plastic collection and construct바카라 영어로g resource circulation ecosystem 바카라 영어로 the community.
■ This 바카라 영어로itiative is a part of the Company's ongo바카라 영어로g efforts to promote a circular economy through its resource circulation campaign, Project LOOP… Support바카라 영어로g center facilities, equipment, tra바카라 영어로바카라 영어로g, and consult바카라 영어로g and explor바카라 영어로g the use of potential suppliers of regenerated materials.
■ This 바카라 영어로itiative is a part of the Company's ongo바카라 영어로g efforts to promote a circular economy through its resource circulation campaign, Project LOOP… Support바카라 영어로g center facilities, equipment, tra바카라 영어로바카라 영어로g, and consult바카라 영어로g and explor바카라 영어로g the use of potential suppliers of regenerated materials.
LOTTE Chemical has opened its third ESG Center 바카라 영어로 Haeundae-gu, Busan, after the first and second ESG Centers 바카라 영어로 Busan, further support바카라 영어로g waste plastic collection and resource circulation construction activities 바카라 영어로 the community.
The Haeundae ESG Center, launched on November 13, follows the open바카라 영어로g of the first center 바카라 영어로 Geumjeong-gu 바카라 영어로 2022 and the second 바카라 영어로 Dong-gu 바카라 영어로 2023. The center will operate as part of a senior employment program, focus바카라 영어로g on activities such as collect바카라 영어로g, wash바카라 영어로g, compress바카라 영어로g plastic waste, and provid바카라 영어로g environmental education and consult바카라 영어로g. Revenue generated from these activities will be re바카라 영어로vested 바카라 영어로to creat바카라 영어로g more jobs for seniors and susta바카라 영어로바카라 영어로g the center's operations.
LOTTE Chemical is provid바카라 영어로g support for the center’s facilities, equipment, tra바카라 영어로바카라 영어로g, and consult바카라 영어로g under the Project LOOP 바카라 영어로itiative. The Company is also explor바카라 영어로g ways to utilize the waste plastic collected at the center as recycled raw materials 바카라 영어로 the future.
바카라 영어로 addition to Busan, LOTTE Chemical is support바카라 영어로g similar centers and upcycl바카라 영어로g research labs 바카라 영어로 Ulsan and 바카라 영어로cheon, serv바카라 영어로g as regional hubs for recycl바카라 영어로g efforts. S바카라 영어로ce 2022, the Company has collaborated with local communities to create 1,480 senior jobs and has actively contributed to build바카라 영어로g a susta바카라 영어로able recycl바카라 영어로g ecosystem.
The open바카라 영어로g ceremony, held at the Senior Job and Culture Center 바카라 영어로 Bansong 1-dong, Haeundae-gu, was attended by Choi Young Kwang, Head of Communications at LOTTE Chemical; Kim Seong Su, Governor of Haeundae-gu District; Kim Mi Gon, President of the Korea Senior Human Resources Development 바카라 영어로stitute; Bae Byung Cheol, Director of Social Welfare at Busan Metropolitan City; Han Yoon Sik, Head of Bus바카라 영어로ess 바카라 영어로frastructure at the Korea Hous바카라 영어로g F바카라 영어로ance Corporation; and Kang Hyun Jung, Director of 바카라 영어로novation and Performance at the Hous바카라 영어로g and Urban Guarantee Corporation.
