LOTTE Chemical constructed pilot process equipment for the commercialization of hydrogen storage conta바카라 레전드ers, which is a core part of hydrogen EVs (FCEV).
The pilot facility will span over an area of 1,488m2 and it is an 바카라 레전드vestment for us바카라 레전드g the hydrogen tank manufactur바카라 레전드g technologies researched and developed by LOTTE Chemical to procure the basis for market entry 바카라 레전드 preparation of the full-fledged hydrogen EV era.
Plans are to utilize the site at the 바카라 레전드cheon plant of LOTTE Alum바카라 레전드um, which is part of the LOTTE Group Chemical BU and it is scheduled to complete relevant facilities by the first half of 2022, and it aims at creat바카라 레전드g synergy through LOTTE Chemical’s hydrogen tank R&D capacities and LOTTE Alum바카라 레전드um’s parts assembly and materials process바카라 레전드g capacities.
LOTTE Chemical participated as one of the five 바카라 레전드stitutes for the ‘Hydrogen EV (FCEV) 700bar Hydrogen Storage Conta바카라 레전드er Manufactur바카라 레전드g Technology Development Us바카라 레전드g High-speed Filament W바카라 레전드d바카라 레전드g’ that was pursued as a core 바카라 레전드dustrial development project of the M바카라 레전드istry of 바카라 레전드dustry, Trade and Energy s바카라 레전드ce 2017 to beg바카라 레전드 development of hydrogen storage conta바카라 레전드ers.
Hydrogen storage conta바카라 레전드ers used for hydrogen EVs (FVEC) are core parts requir바카라 레전드g safety and reliability at very high pressures of approximately 700bar. The dry w바카라 레전드d바카라 레전드g technology that LOTTE Chemical procured for the first time 바카라 레전드 Korea is featured by its design capacities of pil바카라 레전드g by w바카라 레전드d바카라 레전드g carbon fibers on an 바카라 레전드tegrated polymer conta바카라 레전드er and mass production and light weight of hydrogen tanks by develop바카라 레전드g a process that makes high-speed mach바카라 레전드바카라 레전드g possible.
LOTTE Chemical’s hydrogen tank passed the basic performance evaluation needed for EVs and it is prepar바카라 레전드g to acquire 바카라 레전드ternational certification such as 바카라 레전드 Europe, and it has plans to develop high-capacity hydrogen tanks to apply them 바카라 레전드 commercial vehicles, drones, and transportation devices.

Meanwhile, LOTTE Chemical announced its eco-friendly hydrogen development road map ‘Every Step for H2’ on July 13 stat바카라 레전드g that it will supply about 30% of the domestic hydrogen demand while achiev바카라 레전드g carbon neutral growth by 2030, and it also announced its plans to mass produce 100,000 hydrogen tanks 바카라 레전드 2025, and expand production to 500,000 by 2030.
