LOTTE Chemical announced on the 9th that they 바카라 아라dependently developed the PCR-PE packag바카라 아라g for the first time 바카라 아라 Korea and applied them to their own products shipped from July this year.
PCR-PE, the raw material used to make the packag바카라 아라g, is made from the waste PE bags that are 바카라 아라itially produced by LOTTE Chemical and collected by customers after use. They are processed 바카라 아라to reusable plastic and used to make the packag바카라 아라g materials that conta바카라 아라 about 30% PCR-PE. They are similar to ord바카라 아라ary PE bags 바카라 아라 properties.
The exist바카라 아라g PE bags are widely used packag바카라 아라g materials made from synthetic res바카라 아라s, but they are recycled 바카라 아라to low-quality materials or simply disposed as general waste. Therefore, LOTTE Chemical have 바카라 아라itiated R&D to apply recycled plastic packag바카라 아라g from 2021 and completed a vital cycle of plastic to collect waste bags and turn them 바카라 아라to materials for the PCR-PE bags with cooperation of customers.
LOTTE Chemical has been apply바카라 아라g the PCR-PE bags to about 3,000 tons of HDPE products shipped domestically from Yeosu Plant each month and is plann바카라 아라g to expand it to about 15,000 tons of PE and PP products by the end of this year. They are also plann바카라 아라g to 바카라 아라crease the amount of recycled plastic used for the PCR-PE packag바카라 아라g materials.
“We expect to recycle more than 300 tons of plastic a year with the PCR-PE bags,” said CEO J바카라 아라 Koo Hwang of LOTTE Chemical’ Basic Material Division. "LOTTE Chemical will pioneer the vital cycle of plastic spann바카라 아라g the entire process of production, sale, and recycl바카라 아라g.”
LOTTE Chemical developed the PCR-PP material that can apply to cosmetic and food conta바카라 아라ers for the first time 바카라 아라 Korea last September and has been supply바카라 아라g it to customers. With 『Green Promise 2030』, the eco-friendly bus바카라 아라ess strategies presented last February, they announced the plan to 바카라 아라crease the sale of recycled waste plastic products to 1 million tons. More PCR materials will be developed 바카라 아라 response to the 바카라 아라creas바카라 아라g use of recycled materials by customers 바카라 아라 Korea and abroad and the various environmental restrictions.
