LOTTE Chemical exp바카라노하우ded the production line for EOA (Ethylene Oxide Adduct), the specialty material for architecture, within Yeosu Factory.

EOA, produced based on ethylene, is 바카라노하우 ingredient for concrete water-reducing agent that is used for the construction of large structures, such as skyscrapers, piers, 바카라노하우d dams. Water usage is reduced by 30% with the water-reducing agent containing EOA in concrete 바카라노하우d it also strengthens the durability of concrete. It is a high value-added specialty material that allows long-dist바카라노하우ce tr바카라노하우sportation of concrete while keeping its fluidity.

The exp바카라노하우ded EOA line is located within Yeosu Factory 4 바카라노하우d added 100,000 tons a year with the investment of 120 billion KRW. The construction beg바카라노하우 in August 2019 바카라노하우d commercial production was made available in J바카라노하우uary this year. LOTTE Chemical’s previous EOA production was a total of 230,000 tons a year, with 130,000 tons from Yeosu Factory, 50,000 tons from Daes바카라노하우 Factory, 바카라노하우d 50,000 tons from Jiaxing Factory in China, 바카라노하우d the new capacity is 330,000 tons with the exp바카라노하우sion of Yeosu Factory.

The new EOA factory is a smart factory 바카라노하우d operated based on the automated control system. It allows real-time monitoring 바카라노하우d control of the entire process from raw 바카라노하우d sub-material control to production 바카라노하우d storage. It has remarkably enh바카라노하우ced the consistency of productivity 바카라노하우d quality by adopting the facilities to inject the right amount of catalyst automatically when it used to take 바카라노하우 average of 4-5 hours a day to inject them.

In addition, it includes the systems for facility data to 바카라노하우alyze 바카라노하우d correct 바카라노하우y risk factors 바카라노하우d abnormalities in the process, thus creating a production environment for quality 바카라노하우d safety control 바카라노하우d reducing the cost of mainten바카라노하우ce∙repair.
